1996年、1999年、2003年获得清华大学学士、硕士和博士学位(清华大学优秀博士论文一等奖)。1999年留校任教,2008年获得博生指导教师资格, 2013年晋升清华大学电机系教授。IEEE Senior Member,中国电机工程学会高级会员。入选教育部新世纪人才计划,首届中国电机工程杰出青年工程师奖获得者。作为技术负责人开发了国内首套现场应用的在线动态安全预警系统、多调控中心广域分布式DTS。研发了基于FDNE的机电-电磁暂态实时混合仿真平台大幅度提高了交直流混联电网的仿真精度,在南方电网得到应用。主持研发了基于分层模型预测控制的风电鲁棒调度模型及调度中心-风电场协调控制系统,在吉林电网完成了示范工程,被鉴定为该领域重大标志性成果。创建了基于回路分析的配电网分析与优化方法体系,研发的配电管理系统在多个城市电网应用,部分专利技术被日立公司购买,长园集团资助建立了清华-长园深瑞智能配电网调度自动化联合研究所(任所长)。作为核心骨干研发的电网能量管理系统在23个省的70个地级以上电网应用。主持了4项国家自然基金、2项国际合作项目、1项973项目子课题(清华方负责人)、1项863专题子课题,2项科技支撑计划项目子课题(清华方负责人)和20多项横向项目。发表论文SCI/EI 收录论文200余篇,其中SCI 论文37篇,授权发明专利64项,主编和合著3本。获得国家科学技术发明奖二等奖1项,北京市科学技术一等奖1项,省部级二等奖4项,三等奖2项。
