►个人简介
单忠东教授本科毕业于北京大学经济学系，后又获得北京大学经济学硕士学位，1987年他又获得澳大利亚发展经济学硕士和澳大利亚麦卡利大学国际贸易与金融学博士学位。
他曾在中国财政部工作，担任过麦卡利大学讲师以及澳大利亚昆士兰理工大学应用经济系高级讲师， 现在他任维多利亚大学商学与法律学院副院长，副教授（终身职），北京大学光华管理学院终身教授。
他多次在国际顶级学术期刊如World Economy,Economic Journal,Economic Theory,International Economic Review,International Journal of Industrial,Australian Economic Papers,Southern Economic Journal上发表论文。
他现在的研究领域为金融市场与经济发展,国际贸易,国际金融，教授的课程有国际金融,国际贸易。
