一般过去式

常见时间状语标志：yesterday（昨天）、the day before yesterday（前天）、last night（昨天晚上） / week （周）/ month（月）、时间词 + ago (如three days ago), in / on + 过去的时间词 (如in 2010)、 just now、at that time、in those days、one day、 long long time ago、once upon a time等。

例如：Two years ago she bought an expensive mountain bike.

2、过去进行时

常见时间状语标志：(just) then, at that time, yesterday afternoon, the whole morning, all day yesterday, from 9 to 10 last evening / night, those days等。

3、过去完成时

常见时间状语标志：before, by the end of last term / week / month / year 等。
