assuming that的用法

assuming that（假设/如果）本身是用作条件状语的分词短语，因此可以把它视作引导条件从句的连词，相当于if 的用法。条件从句有两种情况：一种是真实语气，表示基本与事实相符；一种是虚拟语气，表示不符合或不一定符合事实。assuming that 的用法也是如此。

如对下面句子的两种不同表述：

就算你是对的，这件事也没什么我可以做的。
